Inside the BABOR Masterclass

BABOR’s Artist Edition 2025, designed by Hanna Schönwald, isn’t just skincare, it’s a piece of art you can apply every morning.

To showcase this fusion of design, wellness, and craftsmanship, BABOR and Hanna hosted an intimate masterclass in her studio. A select group of content creators were invited to experience the art behind the ampoules, while also learning, touching, and capturing it themselves.

To showcase this fusion of design, wellness, and craftsmanship, BABOR and Hanna hosted an intimate masterclass in her studio. A select group of content creators were invited to experience the art behind the ampoules, while also learning, touching, and capturing it themselves.

The day felt like stepping into Hanna’s creative living room, and the goal was twofold: let the influencers share genuine moments in their style, and on the other hand, supply BABOR with content that reflected Hanna’s understated, editorial vibe.

We worked with minimal equipment, just a clean video set-up, a vintage camcorder for that grainy, lived‑in texture, and a stills camera to highlight close‑up shots of the ampoules. All framed in the natural afternoon light filtering through the atelier’s oversized windows.

Filming felt effortless until you remember that everyone else is also filming. Trying not to accidentally wander into someone’s Reel was a challenge in itself. Like playing content dodgeball. Still, in between avoiding photobombing, we managed to capture candid details: influencers engaging with product, Hanna gently explaining her inspiration, and the glow of skin after each application.


What set this Masterclass apart was the real-time delivery. During the event, edited photos were already live in Story frames, creating a dynamic moment that felt fresh, not staged.


Visually compelling, authentically playful, and packed with cosmetic goodness.
